Wolfgang Flür was born on 17 July 1947 in Frankfurt, Germany. Between 1973 and 1987 Flür, along with Karl Bartos, was an electronic percussionist in the electronic music quartet known as Kraftwerk, along with the founding members Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider. In 1996, Flür founded Yamo, which released an album Time Pie, a collaboration with Mouse on Mars.
