Apulia (en italiano, Puglia [ˈpuʎʎa]) es una región de Italia. Tiene una población estimada, a fines de agosto de 2022, de 3 897 741 habitantes. Su capital y ciudad más poblada es Bari. Está ubicada en la Italia meridional, limitando al norte y este con el mar Adriático, al sur con el golfo de Tarento (mar Jónico, mar Mediterráneo), al oeste con los montes Apeninos, que la separan de Basilicata y Campania, y al noroeste con Molise. Corresponde al «tacón» de la forma de «bota» que tiene la península itálica, es decir, se halla en el extremo sureste de la misma; la punta Palascìa, cerca de Otranto, queda a alrededor de 80 km de la costa de Albania. Comprende la ciudad metropolitana de Bari y las provincias de Barletta-Andria-Trani, Brindisi, Foggia, Lecce y Tarento.
