Hanergy is founded and controlled by Li Hejun.

== History == Hanergy was founded in September 1989 by Li Hejun, under the name Yuancheng Pulisen Investment Co., Ltd. It changed its name to Hetaihe Economic and Trade Development Co., Ltd. and then Huarui Group, before settling on Hanergy Holding Group in August 2008.
