Olfen () is a town in the district of Coesfeld, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
==History== Bishop Wolfhelm, who originated from the Ulfloa Oberhof, gave the small town its name in 889. Wolfhelm was the fourth bishop of "Mimingardeford", today called Münster.
