(b Zagreb, 1888; d Vienna, 1964). Croatian soprano. Début in operetta at Theater an der Wien 1908. After success as Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus, sang in opera in Hamburg, Berlin, and, from 1921, Vienna. Frequently sang with Tauber in Lehár operettas. Salzburg Fest. 1929; Glyndebourne 1938.
