== Metabolism == Xanthotoxol O-methyltransferase (8-hydroxyfuranocoumarin 8-O-methyltransferase) is an enzyme that uses S-adenosyl methionine and xanthotoxol to produce S-adenosylhomocysteine and O-methylxanthotoxol (xanthotoxin or methoxsalen).
