Hispanopithecus ist eine ausgestorbene Gattung der Menschenaffen, die vor rund 10 Millionen Jahren während des Miozäns in Spanien vorkam. Die Gattung und ihre Typusart Hispanopithecus laietanus wurden erstmals 1944 wissenschaftlich beschrieben. Möglicherweise gehört die Gattung zu den engeren Verwandten der Orang-Utan-Vorfahren.
