Theodor Escherich

Theodor Escherich was a male biologist, physician, university teacher, and pediatrician born in Ansbach in 1857. He held citizenship in the Kingdom of Bavaria and Cisleithania. His professional career included positions at the University of Vienna, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, and the University of Graz, with work locations in Munich, Graz, and Vienna. He was educated at the University of Würzburg and his doctoral advisor was Carl Jakob Adolf Christian Gerhardt.

Escherich died in Vienna on February 15, 1911. He worked in the field of medicine and spoke German.
