Die Stumpfe Stachelschnecke oder Abgestumpfte Stachelschnecke (Hexaplex trunculus), wie einige verwandte Arten auch Purpurschnecke genannt, ist eine Schnecke aus der Familie der Stachelschnecken (Gattung Hexaplex), die im Mittelmeer und im Ostatlantik verbreitet ist. Sie ernährt sich von Mollusken, Seeigeln, Rankenfußkrebsen und Polychaeten.
